Equipotential eclipsing is a phenomenon happening when a space body heavy enough to dip in the Olivarez equilibrium boundary, passes between two jump points and attracts a jump line. The intervening body then becomes a new station and will "lure" Jump ships.
When that happens, Pilots and Captains have to survey out their actual destination and resume their coursem and if the intervening body is too close to one of the stations for a jump line, then the jump-ship has to wait until the condition are better. Because of the frequency of the phenomenon, jump flights are occasionally delayed.
