Jennifer Leiby is a Major on board the TCS Tiger Claw. She was a pilot in the Black Lion squadron. Designated Black Lion Seven. She was ambushed and shot down near Planet 415 while on patrol. She was in contact and reporting to the wing leader of Pride squadron at the time (Pride One).[1]

A similar scene appears in the movie, but at the time Obutu and Falk are listening in on the reports from a flight shortly before it is ambushed.
